A Little More About Your Role…

As a Principal Risk Consultant / Manager, you will be able to:

• Deliver risk consulting assignments profitably with positive feedback.
• Lead and manage small consulting assignments when necessary.
• Contribute to the development of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage effective risk management services on projects and workstreams, drawing on minimal input from senior staff.
• Lead the development and presentation of client risk management deliverables, engaging with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
• Support project leaders in delivering successful projects.
• Coach junior team members.
• Develop and expand WSP's Risk Management service offering.
• Share knowledge and best practices.
• Build professional networks to support business development.

Qualifications and Experience

• Expertise in project, programme, and business risk management facilitation.
• Experience with risk models using ARM, Primavera Risk Analyser, Safran Risk, Predict, Xactium, etc.
• Ability to explain risk assessment results to non-specialists.
• Knowledge of risk management techniques and project control processes.
• Degree or qualification in risk management or equivalent experience.
• Membership of IRM or APM Risk Practitioner preferred.
• Previous line management and consultancy experience a plus.
