At Focus Group, we're looking for a visionary Principal Solutions Architect to design and deliver robust, future-proof solutions for one of our most strategic customers - and help evolve our architecture practice into a true centre of excellence. You'll work closely with customer leaders, guiding them through emerging technologies, shaping roadmaps, and ensuring their infrastructure, cloud, and workplace solutions are secure, scalable, and commercially sound.

What you\'ll do

• Act as a trusted technical advisor, aligning technology strategies to customer transformation goals.
• Lead architecture from initial concept through to delivery, across cloud, network, infrastructure, and modern workplace domains.
• Build and deliver technology roadmaps that drive innovation and measurable business improvement.
• Create frameworks, patterns, and repeatable solutions that elevate our architecture practice.
• Mentor and inspire technical teams, fostering a collaborative and forward-thinking culture.

What you\'ll bring

• Proven senior architecture experience (Solutions or Enterprise) - ideally within an MSP environment.
• Deep expertise in cloud, networking, infrastructure, and modern workplace solutions.
• A strong grasp of architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) and an ability to operate in ambiguity.
• Excellent communication skills, able to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
• Leadership experience - mentoring, setting standards, and driving technical excellence.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Cisco Professional/Expert, AWS Solutions Architect.
• Experience with automation, Infrastructure as Code, APIs, and SDLC.
