Principal UX Designer

Woking – hybrid working

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and innovative product team working on a leading SaaS platform as a Principal UX Designer. The company has established itself as a key player in its sector and is now looking for an experienced UX Designer to lead end-to-end initiatives on a high-impact ‘Tech for Good’ product.

This role will be a combination of leading a small design team whilst remaining hands‑on with design.

Things to Consider:

• Hybrid working, 3-4 days’ work from home.
• Experience working in highly regulated environments or with personal data is desirable.
• A portfolio is required alongside applications.

Requirements:

• Proven team leadership & stakeholder management experience is essential.
• Comfortable liaising with Senior leadership regarding design strategy and UX roadmaps.
• Strong UX / UI design & Product Design experience within a SaaS environment.
• Skilled in user research — planning, conducting, and turning insights into action (Prototyping and Mapping user journeys).
• Proficient in Figma, from low‑fi wireframes to high‑fidelity prototypes.
• Ability to demonstrate solving design user‑focused problems and working full life cycle.
