Job Description:

We have an opportunity for a Principal/Associate Electrical Engineer to join an award-winning engineering consultancy.

This role involves working with a team of engineers, designers, and specialists to provide innovative solutions for building projects. Responsibilities include client interaction, reporting, specifications, overseeing testing, and delivering a range of MEP, environmental, and sustainability services.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Managing a portfolio of UK and international projects.
• Providing technical advice on electrical and mechanical services in existing buildings.
• Preparing fee proposals and delivering refurbishment projects.
• Conducting condition surveys and developing design specifications.
• Ensuring compliance with UK and EU regulations.
• Leading electrical services design on large projects and overseeing MEP on smaller projects.
• Managing client relationships and project teams.

What We Are Looking For:

• Strong technical knowledge in Electrical Design Engineering and Building Services Engineering.
• Experience with standards, wiring regulations, and fire detection systems.
• Ability to perform building services surveys and peer reviews.
• Experience with various project stages and regulatory documentation.
• Chartered status or close to achieving it.
