The Principal/Senior Principal Architect ("SPA") within Cloud Infrastructure will own architecture accountability for specific areas within our portfolio. The role involves designing and communicating complex pipelines to deliver SaaS capabilities to our customers, working with stakeholders including product managers, engineering leaders, and dev ops engineers.

This role requires diagnosing and solving complex problems, providing authoritative technical recommendations, and contributing to company standards and procedures, including the IFS Technical Reference Architecture. The SPA also identifies new approaches to enhance and simplify the IFS suite and acts as an authority in technology areas.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing technical leadership for software design and automated deployment pipelines
• Designing and implementing architecture runway with a hands-on approach
• Setting technical agendas in collaboration with engineering and product management
• Ensuring maintainability, security, and performance
• Conducting peer reviews and ensuring quality standards
• Liaising with stakeholders and contributing to product and service improvements
• Providing multi-horizon technology thinking aligned with business needs

Qualifications and skills required:

• 15+ years of experience in large-scale automated deployment pipelines and cloud architecture
• Strong cloud architecture, technical design, and programming skills
• Experience in Application Security, Scalability, and Performance
• Ability to articulate technology vision clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
• Hands-on experience with Azure and other hyperscale clouds, CI/CD tools (Gitlab, Github, Tekton), GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Crossplane), databases (Oracle, MongoDB, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL), Kubernetes, and Docker
• Knowledge of cloud-native big data tools and data science frameworks is a plus
• Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills, with an innovative mindset
