Job Summary

We are seeking a Privacy Assurance Specialist who can bridge the gap between legal, compliance, and engineering teams to ensure privacy requirements are effectively translated into technical, testable solutions. This role involves converting company policies into Non‑Functional Requirements, conducting technical impact assessments on tracking technologies, and auditing vendor integrations for compliance with privacy standards. The ideal candidate will be a strategic, analytical problem solver with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of translating complex privacy requirements into actionable, automated solutions that ensure compliance and drive business value.

Responsibilities

  • Translate company policies into Non‑Functional Requirements that are consumable as automated, testable logic.
  • Perform technical impact assessments on tracking technologies, augmenting the PIAs by DP and TPSAs by GSS.
  • Audit technical plans and vendor integrations for compliance with privacy guardrails.
  • Identify situations requiring Legal consultation.
  • Encode ambiguous legal requirements into testable, technical specifications.
  • Maintain a privacy assurance toolkit of automated tests and framework.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Technical Skills
    • Technical depth – web/mobile SDKs, event streaming, identity resolution, encryption, logging/observability.
    • Legal fluency – GDPR, PECR, regulator guidance.
    • Impact assessment capability – able to run PIAs with technical and legal depth.
    • Behaviour Driven Development / Non‑Functional Requirement authoring – skilled at writing testable specifications.
    • Audit and assurance mindset – can challenge designs and vendor claims.
    • Stakeholder management with Engineering, Architecture, Legal, Security.
    • Cross‑functional alignment with Legal, Compliance, Engineering, Product, Procurement, Architecture.
  • Skills
    • Exceptional problem‑solving and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
    • Strong collaboration and partnership skills.
    • Strong business acumen with a focus on delivering solutions that drive business value.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics or a related field.
    • Proficiency in applying problem‑solving frameworks (such as root cause analysis, Six Sigma, or Design Thinking) to address complex business challenges.
    • Certifications: PMP, Agile, or Analytics certifications (good to have).
