Private Client Lawyer – Tamworth (Hybrid)

Full-time or Part-time | Permanent

Salary: Dependent on Experience + Bonus

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented Private Client Lawyer to join our established team. We are seeking a qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE and strong experience across the full spectrum of private client work.

About the Role

You will provide an effective and timely service to clients, managing your own caseload and delivering high-quality advice across:

• Wills and estate planning, including lifetime tax planning
• Estate administration, including post-death inheritance tax planning
• Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters
• Creation and ongoing administration of trusts

You will be expected to maintain up-to-date knowledge of Wills, Trusts and Probate law, meet annual fee-earning targets, bill promptly, and manage cases in line with firm procedures. A strong commitment to client care, cross-team collaboration, and business development is essential.

Key Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer
• Minimum 2–4 years’ PQE in private client work
• Broad experience in estate planning, administration, and related matters
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
• Excellent drafting, research, and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and maintain professional standards
• Proficiency with legal case management systems and Microsoft Office
