Overview

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Paralegal to join a Private Client (Probate) Department in Greenwich, London.

Role: Private Client Paralegal (Probate)

Working pattern: Initially 5 days in the office; after probation, hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 days remote).

About the Role

As a Private Client Paralegal, you’ll provide high-quality legal support within the Probate team, working closely with fee earners and directly supporting clients through sensitive and important matters.

  • Assisting with Wills, LPAs, probate applications, and estate administration
  • Attending clients for Will/LPA signings and home visits
  • Drafting documents, correspondence, and schedules of assets/liabilities
  • Liaising with HMRC, HMCTS, HMLR, and financial institutions
  • Supporting with Court of Protection matters and legal research
  • Helping to organise valuations, property clearance, and related services
  • Managing files to meet Lexcel and SRA standards

This role will suit someone with previous experience in Private Client matters (Probate, Wills, LPAs, Court of Protection) who thrives in a supportive, professional environment.

  • Has prior experience assisting solicitors in Private Client work
  • Is highly organised, detail-focused, and confident managing deadlines
  • Communicates clearly and empathetically with clients and third parties
  • Enjoys working in a collaborative team environment
