This is a fantastic opportunity for a Private Client Senior Associate Solicitor to join a Legal 500 and Chambers-recognised team in Manchester.

You’ll be stepping into a replacement role with high-calibre work readily available and the chance to shape the team’s growth alongside the Head of Department. With a strong pipeline of high-net-worth clients, interesting and varied work, and a close-knit, collaborative team, this is an ideal move for a technically strong solicitor looking to take the next step in their career.

Role highlights: lead on complex HNW and high-value probate cases in a top-ranked team; hybrid working, bonus of up to 12%, and flexibility on hours or part-time; support and mentor junior lawyers with the backing of an experienced Partner.

Who we’re looking for

  • Private Client Solicitor with 6–8 PQE
  • STEP qualified or working towards it
  • Significant experience with HNW and complex probate/estate cases
  • Exposure to Court of Protection and capacity-related work
  • Strong technical expertise and excellent client care
  • Ability to supervise and mentor junior lawyers
  • Organised, proactive, and enthusiastic about BD and team development

What you’ll be doing

  • Manage your own caseload of wills, trusts, POAs, probate and some Court of Protection matters
  • Lead on complex and high-value estates, intestacy, and tax planning
  • Support the Head of Department in supervising trainees, apprentices and juniors
  • Provide tailored advice to HNW individuals and business owners
  • Contribute to marketing and BD initiatives to grow the practice

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
  • Bonus: Fee earner bonus scheme – up to 12%
  • Hybrid working: 1 day WFH (after probation), 4 days in office for first 6 months
  • Hours: Flexibility on start/finish; condensed hours or 4-day week considered
