About the Role

An established, multi-office law firm in the North West is seeking a Solicitor or Qualified CILEX to join its Probate Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced private client practitioner who enjoys building relationships and providing high-quality, compassionate legal advice.

Responsibilities

• Drafting Wills and Powers of Attorney
• Probate applications and estate administration
• Advising clients on inheritance issues and the Mental Capacity Act
• Meeting clients in the office, at home, or in care settings when required

About You

• At least 3 years’ experience in wills, probate, and lasting powers of attorney
• Strong technical knowledge and a client-focused approach
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
• Competence in using modern case management and IT systems

A sound understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and empathy when dealing with elderly or bereaved clients are essential.
