The Role

As a Private Client Tax Manager or Senior Manager, you’ll deliver bespoke tax solutions to a diverse portfolio of private clients, working with individuals and families to address their tax challenges while managing and mentoring a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee a varied portfolio of private clients, including high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and entrepreneurs.
  • Provide proactive, strategic tax advice across income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and trust taxation.
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships, becoming their trusted advisor.
  • Identify and implement planning opportunities for clients to optimize their tax positions.
  • Lead and develop a team of tax professionals, providing mentorship and support.
  • Stay informed on legislative changes and ensure clients are well-advised on emerging issues.
  • Collaborate with other teams to deliver holistic, multidisciplinary solutions.
  • Support business development initiatives to grow the private client tax practice.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is not only technically excellent but also approachable, personable, and passionate about delivering exceptional client service.

Skills and Experience

  • ACA/CTA qualified (or equivalent) with substantial post-qualification experience.
  • Deep understanding of private client tax, including trusts, estates, and international tax matters.
  • Proven ability to build strong client relationships and deliver clear, practical advice.
  • Experience managing and developing teams in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify new opportunities for clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
