My client, a well-established and highly regarded chartered accountancy practice based in Poole, is looking to expand their private client tax team due to continued growth and client demand. The Role: You'll be joining a busy and dynamic team, taking ownership of a varied portfolio of private clients. This isn't just a compliance role - you'll be providing valuable tax planning advice and building strong client relationships. Base pay range

$60,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing your own portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, families, and trusts
• Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns and trust returns
• Providing proactive tax planning advice on inheritance tax, capital gains, and income tax matters
• Handling complex cases, including non-domiciled clients and international structures
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships as their trusted advisor
• Supervising junior staff and contributing to their development
• Keeping up-to-date with tax legislation and advising clients on changes
• Supporting the team with HMRC enquiries and investigations

What They're Looking For

• ATT or CTA qualified - preferably
• Previous experience in private client tax within an accounting practice or similar professional environment
• Strong technical knowledge across personal taxation
• Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to communicate complex tax matters clearly
• Someone who can work independently but also collaborate effectively within a team
• A keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
