Job Summary

Full‑time, Hybrid (40% office), Leeds or Manchester.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or contribute to the architectural design of cloud platform technologies and products across our ecosystem.
  • Build and maintain private cloud products and services.
  • Conduct technical conversations with stakeholders of varying technical backgrounds, including senior management and other subject‑matter experts.
  • Collaborate with internal, external, and third‑party teams.
  • Drive best‑in‑class automation and security practices.
  • Provide education and mentorship on cloud engineering topics to support and upskill teams.
  • Serve as a subject‑matter expert in a particular aspect of infrastructure engineering or product category.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer with expertise in cloud environments.
  • Expert knowledge of networking technologies and services (NSX, VXLAN, ACI, BGP).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and support experience with network technologies and tools.
  • Experience writing technical design documents.
  • Desirable:
    • Familiarity with Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
    • Experience developing, maintaining, and supporting networks in NSX.
    • Understanding of automation tooling (Terraform, Ansible, GitHub).
    • Monitoring of network deployment and configuration automation.
    • Knowledge of VXLAN/Geneve technologies and VMware virtual infrastructure.
    • Experience with service design methodologies.
    • Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
    • Experience with large‑scale data migrations.
