Selby Jennings is partnering with a London-based investment firm managing over $10bn in assets, known for its differentiated investment platform across both traditional and alternative strategies. Their investment coverage spans across equities, emerging markets and private markets.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead fundraising efforts across private markets strategies, including private equity, private debt or real assets.
  • Originate and develop relationships with Italian institutional investors.
  • Represent the firm\'s platform at investor meetings, conferences, and roadshows.
  • Collaborate with internal investment teams and external managers to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of market trends and regulatory developments across Europe.
  • Drive strategic growth in the Italian institutional channel.

Ideal Candidate

  • 7-11 years of institutional sales experience, with 4-5 years in private markets fundraising.
  • Proven track record of raising capital from Italian institutional investors.
  • Deep network across Italian pensions, insurers, and family offices.
  • Strong understanding of fund structures and investor expectations in private markets.
  • Must be London-based and eligible to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship).
