Process Engineer

Thames Water is recruiting a passionate Process Engineer driven to help shape the future of water and wastewater treatment in London and its surrounding areas. What you’ll be doing as a Process Engineer
- Assessment of Project Briefs and associated technical information and solutions to support risk mitigation and maximise value before pricing by the delivery contractor.
- Work within multidisciplinary project teams following project delivery procedures.
- Work towards delivering project outputs to time, cost and quality through planning and forecasting resource requirements.
- Developing capability and working to ensure continuous improvement.
This is a hybrid role with a base location of Hampton Coal Wharf.
You will be expected to be in the office or on-site 2-3 days a week.
Ideally, we would like the successful candidate to have a driving license, but please apply if this is not the case, as your application will still be considered.
Ideally, this will be a full-time 36-hour-a-week role, working Monday to Friday.
What you should bring to the role of Process Engineer
- Degree or HNC in chemical engineering.
- An understanding of developing technical project solutions and briefs, especially those related to civil scope.
- Awareness of project delivery in process industries.
- Have a strong comprehension of health & safety in the construction industry, particularly CDM.

- Offering between £40,000 to £60,000 per annum, depending on the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
- Annual Leave is 26 days' holiday per year, increasing to 30 with the duration of service. (plus bank holidays)
