A leading London Market Reinsurance business based in the UK is looking to hire a Procurement and Vendor Manager to join the business on an initial 6-month contract. The project focuses on commercial management of projects and monitoring third party vendors to ensure compliance, cost efficiency and alignment with business objectives. This role requires experience in negotiating contracts, monitoring vendor performance and mitigating tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes from requisition to payment; oversee RFPs; develop and review vendor contracts; ensure timely delivery.
  • Monitor vendor performance against SLA/KPI; conduct regular reviews to ensure adherence to contract terms.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors to ensure cost efficiency and alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Experience as Procurement and Vendor Manager, ideally within Financial Services, Reinsurance, London Market insurance, General Insurance or related fields (Essential).
  • End-to-end vendor lifecycle management; RFP experience; contract development and review.
  • Strong leadership, communication and critical thinking skills.
