9 July 2025We have an exciting opportunity to join our Goods Not For Resale (GNFR) Procurement team as a Category Manager. Whilst this role sits within our Corporate Services team, who lead Procurement activities for HR, People, Legal & Professional Services and Travel, we will also consider your application for other categories, as relevant.

Your Role
You’ll have responsibility for Procurement activities from end-to-end sourcing and cost transformation to sustainability and strategic relationship management, daring to find new innovative ways to drive efficiency, and help us get that #2 share in Grocery so we can offer our customers the best value possible.
Activities include:
- Manage end-to-end sourcing activities;
- Develop category strategies;
- Influence and collaborate with stakeholders to support transformation initiatives and maintain a competitive cost base;
- Lead on major business investments and executive priorities;
- Contribute to our cost and cash programme, leveraging data and analytics;
- Support the procurement transformation, setting new standards.

- Proven experience in Procurement/Category Management
- Adept at balancing and anticipating the needs of various stakeholders
- Confident influencing varied stakeholders
- Agile and adaptable to support business needs in a dynamic transformation environment
- Skilled in crafting and managing complex contracts
- Whilst experience in Corporate Services would be desirable, open to individuals seeking to switch categories
