Global Category Manager - Hard FM - £65,000 to £75,000 | 10% bonus, company car + full corporate benefits | Based out of either London, Warwickshire or Hampshire

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join a market-leading, truly global business with diverse operations.

They are seeking an experienced Category Manager with extensive expertise in Hard FM spend areas, focusing on managing large, complex projects.

The group function is undergoing an exciting transformation, expanding its scope and offering continuous opportunities for progression.

Role and responsibilities:

• Report to the Head of Global Procurement - Facilities Management, within a team of colleagues at various levels
• Develop, design, and continuously improve category strategies
• Lead end-to-end sourcing within designated spend areas using a strategic approach
• Collaborate with senior business leaders to develop category strategies and planning
• Provide ongoing advice to stakeholders on market trends, innovations, and supplier market insights
• Manage both regulated and unregulated complex projects
• Ensure strategic procurement delivers the best commercial value for the business

Experience required:

• Extensive category management experience in Hard FM
• Proven strategic category management in a large, complex organization
• Track record of delivering savings in a comparable business environment
• Ability to engage, negotiate, and influence senior stakeholders up to Board level
• Strong stakeholder management skills, adaptable to different relationship types and maturity levels
• Experience working in a large, cross-functional procurement team
• MCIPS qualification is desirable but not essential
