We are partnering with a world-class innovation and research centre embarking on an exciting growth journey.

The Procurement Category Manager for Facilities services is a newly created position within a greenfield Procurement team, supporting the Head of Procurement and wider team in delivering first-class procurement activities and developing robust category strategies across the group.

You will take ownership of the FM category and supplier management for both Hard and Soft services, as well as Laboratory Equipment and Services. We seek candidates with experience in building category strategies from scratch and implementing them across organizations. You will manage a varied and growing estate.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an ambitious mindset, capable of working in an agile environment, and excited by the prospect of a greenfield team and supporting the growth and development of the function with their experience and skills.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• 8 years’ procurement experience, with significant focus on Facilities Management sourcing.
• Experience managing procurement activities for laboratory equipment and related services within an FM context.
• Proven track record in leading complex procurement projects and delivering measurable value.
• Familiarity with working within highly regulated industries (e.g., Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, Research) is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Facilities Management, or a related field (master’s degree desirable).
• MCIPS qualified or actively working towards full membership is highly desirable.
