Senior Procurement Consultant – Security Cleared

Join Turner's growing Contract Services team in the UK. The role involves delivering strategic procurement and contract advice on large‑scale construction and infrastructure projects.

Main Expectations

  • Provide specialist procurement strategy advice to public and private sector clients.
  • Manage and collaborate with a team on end‑to‑end procurement services for major projects or programmes.
  • Support clients in post‑contract contract management of major projects.
  • Support the development of procurement services within T&T.
  • Assist in business development and marketing of the Contract Services team’s service proposition.
  • Help deliver team and wider business targets.
  • Support bid preparation and proposal documentation to strengthen the team’s winning capability.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in a strategic procurement environment.
  • Background in tender preparation and development of key documents.
  • Experience leading or supporting supplier engagement activities, from market engagement to contract award.
  • Cross‑sector experience (Utilities, Defence, Security/Public Contracts) with the ability to devise procurement strategies.
  • Experience with NEC4, standard model contracts, alliances/partnership arrangements.
  • Post‑contract contract management knowledge, especially under NEC4.
  • Working toward or holding MCIPs accreditation.
  • Preferably held a degree related to construction, civil engineering, quantity surveying, law or procurement.
  • Preferably experienced within the Defence and/or Infrastructure sectors.
  • Security clearance (SC) – current or able to be reinstated.
  • Strong supply‑chain intelligence and commercial modelling skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Adaptable, independent, and self‑managed.
  • Capable of collaborating and leading a team to achieve desired outcomes.
