Senior Procurement Consultant (Security Cleared)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist procurement strategy advice to public and private sector clients.
• Manage and collaborate with a team on end‑to‑end procurement services for major projects or programmes.
• Support clients in post‑contract contract management of major projects.
• Develop the procurement services provided by Turner & Townsend.
• Support business development and marketing of the Contract Services team’s service proposition.
• Support the delivery of both team and wider business targets.
• Support bid preparation and proposal documentation to drive the team’s win capability.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience leading and/or supporting strategic procurement projects.
• Strong background in tender preparation, processes and key document development for relevant sectors.
• Supplier engagement experience, including market engagement through to contract award.
• Cross‑sector experience with utilities, defence and security, or public contract regulations.
• Experience with NEC4 contracts and standard model contract approaches.
• Alliance/partnership contract arrangements experience.
• Post‑contract contract management experience, especially under NEC4.
• Working towards or achieved MCIP accreditation.
• Degree in construction, civil engineering, quantity surveying, law or procurement.
• Experience in defence and/or infrastructure sectors.
• Ideally hold Security Clearance (SC) – currently valid or can be reinstated.
• Supply chain intelligence strategy development.
• Commercial principles and modelling, including complex commercial models.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Adaptability, proactive ownership, and autonomous working.
• Ability to manage multiple activities and stakeholders and support team delivery.
