Procurement Executive

Role Overview:

We're seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Executive to support our procurement function with data-driven insights, cost analysis, and supplier performance evaluation. This role will play a key part in ensuring effective sourcing decisions, cost efficiency, and supply chain resilience across the business.

Key Responsibilities Of Procurement Executive

• Analyse procurement data to support sourcing decisions and drive cost savings.
• Monitor supplier performance using KPIs such as delivery accuracy, lead times, and pricing trends.
• Produce regular and ad hoc reports on procurement activities for internal stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for value creation, cost reduction, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Procurement Managers and Category Buyers on sourcing strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date data within procurement and ERP systems.
• Support tender and RFQ processes through data collection and evaluation.
• Track market trends and commodity price fluctuations to inform procurement strategy.
• Assist in the development of dashboards and forecasting tools.
  
  

• Proven experience in a procurement, supply chain, or data analyst role.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and data visualisation tools.
• Experience using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of sustainable procurement practices.
• CIPS qualification or working towards.
  
  

• Location: Thirsk, North Yorkshire or Northampton (Hybrid)
• Salary: Competitive

• Hours: 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday
