Job Description

We're looking for a commercially astute and forward-thinking Procurement Manager to join our Digital & Technology Procurement team. With a spend of approximately £400m across 300+ suppliers, this role is pivotal in shaping and delivering commercial value across our Digital & Technology (D&T) landscape.

You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across D&T, Finance, and Legal, acting as a trusted advisor and commercial strategist. From sourcing and negotiation to contract management and supplier innovation, you'll play a key role in driving sustainable value and supporting M&S's transformation journey.

To stay close to customers, our support teams are in the office three days a week as we believe that skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected.

What You'll Do

Act as a strategic commercial partner to the Digital & Technology teams.
Lead end-to-end procurement activities, from sourcing strategy to contract award.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and Tier 1 technology suppliers.
Deliver commercial value through negotiation, innovation, and market insight.
Develop and implement category strategies aligned with business goals.
Manage supplier relationships and contracts to maximise performance and mitigate risk.
Collaborate with Finance to embed commercial benefits into budgets.
Champion procurement governance and risk management across technology categories.

Who you are

Demonstrable procurement experience, ideally in Digital, Technology, or SaaS.
Proven ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
Experience managing complex sourcing projects and supplier relationships.
Confident communicator with excellent networking and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and procurement systems.
Experience drafting and managing robust commercial contracts.
