Location: Birmingham – Hybrid (3 days in office)

Sea Global is partnering with a leading insurer with a multi-billion-pound global turnover. They seek a motivated procurement professional to join their team and drive indirect spend initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Head of Procurement to design and implement effective procurement strategies.
• Support the procurement team with daily operations and critical initiatives.
• Develop and drive category and sub-category plans aligned with business objectives.
• Manage supplier relationships, including contract negotiation, risk mitigation, and performance monitoring through KPIs and SLAs.
• Build and nurture strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure seamless delivery.

Role & Qualifications

• Proven experience managing indirect procurement categories such as HR, Legal, Finance, Insurance, Travel, Facilities Management, or other Corporate Service areas.
• Solid knowledge of category management principles and best practices.
• Experience within a similar sector is a plus but not essential.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across all levels.
