This individual will be a proactive, detail-oriented member of the Operational Procurement and Systems team, collaborating to drive adoption of the Group's new systems through intelligent content design and guided user experience. The role is crucial in ensuring a smooth, user-friendly experience across our procurement systems and platforms. Responsibilities include supporting daily operations, external providers in the UK SAP environment, enhancing content efficiency in SAP, and maintaining robust audit and compliance controls. A key focus will be improving the procurement portal for intuitive navigation and process alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the SAP ARIBA system, with potential migration to an exclusive SAP ARIBA environment.
- Develop and build at the group level, including UI enhancements, module addition, and process flow creation.
- Bridge the gap between technical teams and procurement functions.
- Implement and optimize SAP ARIBA processes, draft and manage procurement policies, and measure impact to recommend improvements.
- Ensure excellent customer journeys and user experience.
Desired Experience:
- Experience in procurement operations or shared services, preferably within a regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and supplier lifecycle management.
- Experience managing third-party suppliers and performance metrics.
- Proficiency with SAP and process/content optimization within the platform.
- Knowledge of intranet content management and UX best practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and prioritization skills.
- Understanding of financial accounting principles.
- Experience in procurement best practices, including contract drafting.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to develop and execute functional plans.
Additional: FS experience is a bonus but not essential. Passion for delivering excellent customer service is a must.
