Procurement & Supply Chain Coordinator

About The Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement & Supply Chain Coordinator (full-time) to join our team. This key support role spans procurement and operational supply chain activities. The successful candidate will help ensure the smooth and timely flow of goods, documentation, and supplier communications contributing directly to our delivery performance and internal efficiency.

This position is a hybrid role, with an initial on-site induction period at our office in Harrogate, followed by a blend of office and remote work. The position reports to the Head of Operations

Key Responsibilities

Place purchase orders with approved suppliers and subcontractors

Monitor and expedite overdue deliveries; follow up with suppliers as needed

Manage and track supplier order confirmations

Book goods in and coordinate incoming deliveries with internal teams

Create and maintain accurate batch release documentation

Assist with day-to-day operational and logistical tasks across the supply chain

Analyse procurement and stock data to support reporting and decision-making

Identify opportunities to improve procurement or operational processes

Requirements

Experience in a procurement, supply chain, or operations environment. Experience working with regulated products (e.g., medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or manufacturing) is an advantage

Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, formulas)

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Confident communicator, able to liaise with both suppliers and internal stakeholders

Proactive, self-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities

CIPS qualification is desirable (or working toward it)

Familiarity with ERP or MRP systems
