Responsibilities

  • Support and ensure Agroservice activities
  • Conduct and assist in product management activities (the observation and evaluation of local, external trials (e.g., UKSUP, YAS, Strip))
  • Perform sampling activities as part of monitoring processes, in collaboration with the supervisor
  • Responsible for observations, results and knowledge transfer to the supervisor
  • Organize and manage internal local and international variety trials systems
  • Cooperation with local and foreign providers of trials, quality analysis
  • Support the organization and actively represent KWS at regional events to enhance brand visibility and foster acceptance of KWS products, in close collaboration with the marketing and sales teams
  • Implement product-specific and local practical trials in alignment with product management and the sales team
  • Provide technical and seeds transport support to supervisor and sales team
  • Build and maintain networks with internal and external stakeholders including associations and both, official and private consulting
  • Monitor and analyze competitor activities, including portfolio assessments and identification of differentiating features
  • Prepare local technical articles based on field observation and current issues

Qualifications and skills

  • University degree in Agriculture, Biology or related areas
  • Fluency in both Slovak and English language
  • Driver's license B
  • Willingness to travel within Slovakia ~75%
  • Advanced MS Office knowledge (especially Excel)
  • Comprehensive cross-crop, arable farming knowledge
  • Strong time management, organizational, and communication abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a precise and accurate approach to field observations
  • Self-driven and proactive mindset
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently, adaptable and flexible
