Key Accountabilities
Lead the management of manufactured Private Banking products, including development, enhancement, and governance of propositions such as Wills, Power of Attorney, Estates, and Trusts.
Use insight, data, and analysis to understand customer needs, identify opportunities to improve products, and ensure fair value and great customer outcomes.
Drive delivery of change by defining business requirements, identifying process improvements, and managing small- to medium-scale projects through to implementation.
Develop and execute marketing or growth plans for specific products and services, working within established frameworks and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
Manage and support a small team of Product Managers or Analysts, setting objectives, overseeing delivery, and ensuring performance through regular coaching and development.
Oversee the end-to-end customer journey, using complaints, behavioural data, and product usage insight to shape continuous improvement activity.
Ensure technical product specifications and documentation are in place to support robust delivery and compliance with internal standards.
Uses product specifications to design test procedures and standards.
Key skills
Strong product management experience, ideally within financial services, including governance, risk oversight, and managing product performance
Skilled in managing and influencing a broad range of internal stakeholders across functions such as Legal, Compliance, Tech, and central Product teams
Passionate about customer-centric design, using insight and feedback to shape, test, and improve propositions
Confident problem solver, able to identify root causes and opportunities to unlock value through continuous improvement
Experience supporting or line managing junior colleagues such as Product Analysts or Assistant Product Managers
Able to define and deliver change initiatives, including writing business requirements and working closely with change and delivery teams
