About our Team
We’re building a unified identity experience at Elsevier — a single system to serve millions of users and a wide portfolio of internal products. As Product Manager, you’ll play a central role in this work: managing a squad focused on our flagship identity product, while also supporting teams as they onboard to the platform.
This is a great time to join. The team is collaborative, open, and ambitious. We’re growing our product group and investing in our platforms so the work is varied and interesting and requires someone who can move quickly and adapt to changing needs. If you’re interested in identity and access management, enjoy solving complex systems problems, and like working with kind, super-smart people, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
As a Product Manager in Elsevier’s Identity and Access team, you’ll play a central role in shaping the future of our unified identity platform—serving millions of users across a diverse portfolio of products. You’ll lead a cross-functional squad focused on delivering secure, seamless, and scalable identity solutions, while also supporting internal teams as they onboard to the platform. This role blends technical depth with strategic thinking: you’ll dive into authentication and access workflows, collaborate with engineers, UX designers, and stakeholders, and translate user needs into impactful product decisions. You’ll own roadmap priorities, drive delivery, and help define the long-term vision for identity at Elsevier. If you’re passionate about solving complex systems problems and improving user experience at scale, this is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact
Responsibilities:
Lead delivery of product features within our identity platform
Manage onboarding of internal Elsevier products and services

Anticipating customer needs and prioritize those for the organization.
Actively gather data from multiple sources (customer, market analysis, sales and revenue, etc.) to drive solutions to business problems and issues of consequence to the company.
Supporting the go to market strategy with good communication of customer requirements and timelines to stakeholders.
Solve customer issues with product features that achieve business goals and metrics.
Requirements:
A strong interest in identity and access management (IAM); experience is a plus
Sound knowledge of product development processes, agile and lean methodologies
A high level of technical fluency - you can work comfortably with engineers and data professionals
Bachelors or Masters degree in a technical subject (Computer Science or Engineering discipline) is preferred, but not essential.
Min of 4-6 years of PM Experience in a similar role
