About the role

Product Marketing Manager - Maritime (maternity cover, fixed-term) is responsible for driving the go-to-market strategy and sales enablement for Kpler’s vessel tracking brand and products. The ideal candidate will work with product, sales, and marketing teams to articulate product value propositions and craft messaging that resonates with target markets.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and implement comprehensive product marketing strategies to drive adoption and retention of Kpler products.
  • Craft compelling messaging and positioning that differentiates our products in the market.
  • Collaborate with product management to gain deep product expertise and insight into our customers' needs and experiences.
  • Create sales enablement materials and training to ensure our sales team is equipped to sell effectively.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions and product positioning.
  • Plan and execute product launches, working cross-functionally to ensure a cohesive and effective market entry.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop content such as case studies, videos, website copy, and blog posts.
  • Engage with customers to gather testimonials and case examples to showcase the value of our products.
  • Manage cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders to deliver on product marketing objectives.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Fluency in English.
  • 3+ years of shipping or maritime business experience.
  • 3+ years of product or product marketing experience, preferably in a technology-focused company.
  • Proven track record of creating and delivering successful product marketing strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas simply.
  • Strong analytical skills and a passion for turning data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
