TITLE: Product Owner (Skills & Learning) - People PlatformLOCATIONS: Leeds or Halifax
WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in an office location

In this Product Owner role you'll be responsible for driving delivery and value outcomes across our Skills and Learning products. This includes implementing technology and process improvements.
Job Description
About the Role
In this Product Owner role, you'll lead delivery and value outcomes for Skills and Learning products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop expert knowledge of the products and processes, understanding how they are completed through our technology systems to improve colleague engagement and experience.
- Craft the product vision and manage the product backlog, crafting features, epics, and user stories that align with our product goals.
- Define user stories and collaborate with team members to analyse these stories for continuous improvement of colleague journeys.
- Drive the delivery of end-to-end colleague journeys, ensuring feedback is incorporated into the team’s outcomes to maximise value.
- Support the development of Lab or Team Objectives and Key Results, providing product performance and benefits realization data.
- Develop capabilities within your functional area, investing in personal and team growth through mentoring and other informal methods.
What You’ll Need
- Proven ability to manage and run a product backlog, with experience in crafting features, epics, and user stories.
- Significant experience in applying agile methodologies to optimise innovation, development, and delivery.
- Experience with agile methods like Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Confluence, leading and working with HR tech/process agile teams.
- Strong skills in managing collaborators, able to work effectively with colleagues from different business areas and third parties.
- Strong leadership skills to construct a high-performing team environment, encouraging delivery while promoting simplicity and building confidence and trust.
Additional Experience (Preferred but Not Required)
- Experience delivering change within HR technology.
- HR practitioner experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft products, particularly in skills and learning.
