Overview
Job Title: Product Owner - Websites
Location: London Bridge Hybrid two days per week in the office
Salary: Up to £65,000 + 10% bonus
The Role
We are seeking a Product Owner to take ownership of two high-traffic websites with over 900 pages. This role is delivery focused and will involve shaping governance frameworks, managing external delivery partners, and ensuring the websites support an excellent customer experience. You will lead a small web team while moving the function away from reactive firefighting and into proactive delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Ownership of two core websites including content structure functionality and governance
- Prioritisation of a clear backlog and delivery in partnership with external agencies
- Line management of two direct reports Web and SEO Strategist and Web Marketing Coordinator
- Collaboration with stakeholders across Marketing Product and IT to align digital experiences with business and customer needs
- Implementation of frameworks for website content updates editorial processes and compliance with accessibility SEO and data best practice
- Shaping of IA UX and content to improve engagement and conversion performance
Key Experience
- Minimum of three years experience in website management product delivery or editorial leadership
- Strong CMS experience ideally WordPress or equivalent enterprise platforms such as Drupal Adobe Sitecore Hubspot Episerver or Joomla
- Proven track record of line management and workload prioritisation
- Ability to balance delivery priorities with longer term strategic change
- Confident stakeholder management including influencing senior leaders and saying no where required
- Evidence of driving measurable improvements in engagement conversion or customer experience through website management
