Product Owners play a vital role in delivering the product vision, bringing to light roadmap features defined by Product Managers. Framing problems and setting priorities based on user need, business goals and the feasibility of technology choices. Representing users throughout the delivery process and using their feedback to inform continuous improvement. They communicate customer insights to the team and wider organisation, so that they share a strong and empathetic understanding of user needs.
As a Product Owner you will bridge the gap between product managers and delivery teams, you will ensure the roadmap is delivered with the priorities of the end user in mind. Transforming customer insights into stories and actions that lead to the delivery of valuable digital products and services is one of the important aspects of this role.
Collaboration
Collaborating with customersfrom concept, through to design and development, to deliver high-quality products and services for the airline industry. You will work with a range of internal stakeholders and customers to understand user needs and elicit requirements, use formal analysis and design techniques to achieve a shared understanding of the problems to be solved, as well as define solutions.

Key accountabilities:
Business Analysis:
Investigates, analyses, visualises, articulates and solves complex problems and concepts and makes disciplined decisions based on available information
Stakeholder Relationship Management:
Identifies and communicates with stakeholders clearly and regularly, clarifying mutual needs and commitments and consideration of impacts, whilst focusing on user needs
Continuous Improvement Processes:
Identifies and explores opportunities for continuous improvement. Drives the analysis, identification, prioritisation and implementation of improvements and efficiencies, thereby ensuring that the organisation derives maximum value
Requirements Definition & Management:
Identifies, defines and manages the objectives of a business. Must be able to specify requirements from both a business and user perspective to enable agreed changes to be implemented effectively
Innovation:
Ability to identify and pinpoint business opportunities to allow organisations to perform more effectively. This allows businesses to look at new ways of tackling business processes or to establish new services from scratch
Key skills & experiences:
- Product Owner proven ability and experience over a range of projects and programmes (size/scope, cost, duration etc)
- Understanding of the full software delivery lifecycle and exposure to waterfall and agile methodologies
- Facilitation skills to achieve collaboration between users, business stakeholders and the project delivery team
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills. Ability to combine strategic thinking with pragmatism, focusing on delivering
- Excellent communicator at all levels and able to rationalise complex information (both high level and detailed level) to make it understandable for others to work with. Conveys information and ideas clearly, accurately and persuasively
