A leading insurance company, recognised for its innovation and growth-oriented environment, is seeking a Data Product Owner to join its International portfolio.

About the role:

  • Take full ownership of your technical products – a mix of bespoke builds and third-party solutions.
  • Oversee the execution of data initiatives, ensuring accurate integration, transformation, and flow of data across systems, while aligning technical delivery with business priorities and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to aligning delivery with overall business goals, helping drive growth, process efficiencies, and digital transformation.
  • Play a central role in transforming underwriting and operations through technology and digital migration.
  • Maintain and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring maximum business value.
  • Define, communicate, and evolve product vision, strategy, and roadmap in line with business objectives.
  • Ensure product delivery meets definition of done, quality standards, and agreed outcomes.
  • Incorporate feedback and track benefit realisation post-release.
  • Drive Agile maturity across the organisation, holding technology teams accountable for delivery.
  • Partner closely with the Head of Technology on technical decisions and data strategy.
  • Influence decisions around legacy systems, streamline processes in collaboration with Technology, and contribute to global transformation initiatives.

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Product Owner or Technical Business Analyst role within the London Market insurance industry.
  • Strong technical acumen, with proven experience in data integration, governance, and mapping business needs to technical execution.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum), with experience driving Agile practices at scale.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Rally or JIRA.

Hybrid Model: 3 days in the London office.
