Overview
We are seeking a Product Trainer to design and deliver engaging, effective training programs for both internal teams and external clients. This role is essential in driving product adoption, improving user proficiency, and ensuring a consistent understanding of product features, updates, and best practices.
The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator and educator, capable of translating complex product functionality into clear, accessible learning experiences tailored to diverse audiences.
Responsibilities
Training Design & Delivery
- Train team members on product knowledge and delivery standards
- Design and implement train-the-trainer programs to scale training efforts
- Tailor training content to suit different user groups, roles, and levels of product familiarity.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to align training initiatives with business goals.
- Gather feedback from training participants to continuously improve content and delivery.
Onboarding & Enablement
- Provide hypercare support during onboarding and rollout phases to ensure smooth transitions and adoption.
- Conduct refresher and advanced training sessions as needed.
Knowledge Management
- Maintain and update training documentation in the knowledge base or LMS.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of training content across platforms.
Performance Tracking
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and adoption metrics.
- Report on training outcomes and recommend improvements.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in training tools (e.g., LMS platforms, Zoom, MS Teams, Articulate, or similar)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in product training, instructional design, or a similar role.
- Experience delivering training to both internal employees and external clients.
- Familiarity with SaaS products or enterprise software is highly desirable.
