Production Manager £55k-£65k Southampton

Production Manager required by a fast-growing SME that designs, manufactures, tests, and calibrates advanced sensor-based mechanical and electrical assemblies supporting the water industry worldwide. The role involves leading a skilled team, improving processes for quality and efficiency, and helping the business achieve key ISO accreditations.

The Role

1. Lead and develop a small, experienced production team.
2. Improve processes in manufacturing, testing, and calibration.
3. Collaborate with design and engineering on productionisation.
4. Drive continuous improvement across quality, cost, and delivery.

About You

1. Background in manufacturing, testing, and/or calibration (sensor experience a plus).
2. Mechanical or electrical engineering knowledge (degree desirable).
3. Proven track record in raising quality standards and streamlining operations.
4. Familiar with ISO 9001; awareness of ISO 14001 and 45001.
