Key Responsibilities
Oversee the business operations of the function, ensuring it runs efficiently, effectively, and in line with agreed targets and quality standards.
Own the annual business planning process, driving year‑on‑year efficiency improvements, revenue growth, and the development of new skills and services.
Drive capacity planning, financial oversight, cost control, risk mitigation, and utilisation to enhance revenue, protect profitability, and identify growth opportunities.
Lead and develop a high‑performing consultancy team, ensuring effective deployment, utilisation, and ongoing skills development.
Manage recruitment pipelines to keep the practice well‑resourced and responsive to market demands.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, compliance, and operational excellence.
Support the development and operationalisation of new services, champion internal change initiatives, and align the team with customer outcome goals.
Your Team & Impact
As a leader within MHR’s consulting practice, you will directly influence the efficiency, commercial performance, and strategic direction of the consulting practice. By driving accurate forecasting, cost control, risk mitigation, and utilisation, you will enhance revenue, protect profitability, and identify ongoing opportunities for growth. Through strong business acumen, stakeholder management, and a focus on customer experience, you will strengthen the delivery of MHR’s Professional Services strategy while promoting a positive image of MHR at every interaction. Your work will ensure the practice remains competitive, scalable, and ready to meet evolving customer and market needs.
