Professor – UNSW Business School of Banking and Finance. Join to apply for the Professor role at UNSW. This position is a 0.35FTE fixed-term appointment focused on driving Artificial Intelligence and its applications in Finance, with a preference for leadership in curriculum development for AI in Finance and PhD supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic leadership and foster excellence in research, teaching, and engagement in their area of expertise.
• Drive Artificial Intelligence and its application in Finance; develop a rigorous curriculum in AI in Finance for PhD students.
• Teach and design courses using a range of pedagogical approaches; develop and deliver postgraduate courses and programs.
• Contribute to the School's strategy and educational technology initiatives where appropriate.
• Report to the Head of School; the role has no direct reports.

Qualifications

• PhD in a related discipline with ongoing engagement with discipline knowledge and developments.
• Experience in teaching and learning design, course development and delivery at postgraduate level.
• Experience implementing educational technologies and online delivery methods.
• Demonstrated teaching effectiveness and commitment to educational excellence.
• Understanding of and commitment to UNSW’s aims, objectives and values and related policies.
