Overview
Join Gallagher Re as a Program Delivery Manager and lead transformative change across diverse projects, collaborating with functional, business, technology, and operations teams to achieve outstanding results.
You'll work closely with Project and Delivery Managers to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality project execution, while managing governance and coordinating delivery across projects.
With a focus on future risks and dependencies, you'll communicate updates to senior leadership and oversee project budgets, all while upholding Gallagher's commitment to putting clients at the heart of our business.
This role offers a real opportunity to shape the day to day experience of hundreds of colleagues across Gallagher Re. It will give opportunities to stretch and develop your own skillset by working on challenging problems, collaborating with colleagues to grow both individually and as a team, delivering the very best outcomes for our business.
We offer flexible hybrid working and this role can be based from any location in the UK. The expectation would be to travel to the London office once or twice a month when needed for meetings.
How You'll Make An Impact
- Lead and execute change initiatives across business, technology, and operations teams.
- Manage governance, resource planning, and risk mitigation to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
- Partner with business functions to drive successful delivery across all projects.
- Mentor and develop a team of up to 5 direct reports, fostering growth and career development.
- Represent the technology function confidently in senior leadership discussions.
- Proven experience as a Programme or Portfolio Manager in Insurance or Financial Services.
- A track record of delivering complex, multi-site projects in dynamic environments.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Knowledge of the London Market/Lloyd’s insurance industry is a plus.
