We are seeking an experienced Divest Program Director to lead a comprehensive program of multiple divestments over an 18-month period, including the divestiture of assets valued at over $2 billion across 38 countries. The program will involve coordination with multiple buyers and impact several business units.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

  • Program and project management: Manage the timeline, budget, and resources for the divestment program (portfolio of projects), ensuring milestones are met within the 18-month period.
  • Problem solving: Collaborate with workstream leaders to investigate and develop solutions across multiple disciplines.
  • Stakeholder management: Liaise with business units, buyers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transitions and mitigate risks.
  • Financial oversight: Monitor and report on the financial aspects of the divestments, aiming to divest over $2 billion in value.
  • Risk management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies for successful execution.
  • Compliance: Ensure all divestments comply with local regulations in the 38 countries involved.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and ongoing communication with all stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Performance tracking: Establish KPIs to monitor the success and progress of the divestment program.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in program management, with a focus on divestments or mergers and acquisitions.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, strategic planning, financial analysis, and excellent communication with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of international business regulations and compliance, particularly in divestments.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of IT and Finance domains as required.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel internationally to manage divestments in multiple countries.
  • Certifications: PMP or similar certification is a plus.
