The Senior Leadership Development Team (SLT) sits within the wider Ministry Development department. The team provides leadership development for senior clergy within the Church and works closely with Dioceses to identify and support those with the potential for senior office/wider responsibility. It coordinates the support to the Diocesan Bishops’ Ministerial Development Review (MDR) process.

What you'll be doing

The Programme Coordinator is responsible for offering project management, logistical, and administrative assistance to the Learning & Development programmes for senior clerical leaders within the Church of England. The postholder's role is crucial in ensuring that the clergy receive a high-quality and efficient service and experience.

Main responsibilities

Act as a first point of contact for overall event management activities and undertake project planning programmes.

Monitor and provide budget updates to the Head of Senior Leadership Development, ensuring expenditure is within budget.

Key role requirements

Please note: This role is also suited for candidates who choose to work from home. If you opt to be a homeworker, you are responsible for your travel expenses to your primary/base location, as the role requires you to attend infrequent face-to-face meetings 1-2 days per month .
