Salary: £54,793+ depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Working as the focal point for Cost Management across the FCAS Programme, liaising with senior Industry and Customer stakeholders to continue to mature Cost strategy
- Managing the team to track Cost performance across BAE Systems and Industry Partners, owning the output of the monthly Cost Cyle and Quarterly Contract Status Report (CSR)
- Leading the associated Cost Cycle governance reviews with Industry and Customer stakeholders
- Working closely with the FCAS Operational Excellence team to drive the continuous improvement of Cost Management reporting information for internal and external senior review
- Owning the Cost Change Management process, ensuring it is adhered to by all Industry parties and endorsed by the Customer on a monthly basis
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
Proven experience of project management delivery
Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels
Proven experience working with Microsoft Tools such as Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
Desirable:
Proven experience in Cost Management
Proven experience of working on a project or programme in the early stages of the life cycle

The FCAS Acquisition Programme Cost Team:
The FCAS AP Cost team are a central element of the FCAS Programme, working closely with a sizeable Project Control organisation as well as finance Leads and Programme Integration Managers. FCAS also relies on strong relationships with our Industry Partners and UK Customer, promoting collaborative team working across the FCAS enterprise as part of our one team approach. As the Programme Cost Lead, you will ensure our Industry Partners, Customer and internal Programme teams understand the monthly cycle requirements and associated financial performance..
