Our Contingent Workforce Solution (CWS) acts as an extension of Rolls-Royce's recruitment team, providing professional interim and temporary resources.
We are seeking a Programme Lead for a 12-month contract based in Bristol, on behalf of Rolls-Royce, a company developing cutting-edge technologies to deliver clean, safe, and competitive solutions for vital power needs. Please note this position is hybrid.
The Programme Lead will be responsible for delivering small projects or workstreams within larger projects aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Accountable for the successful delivery of a defined package of work in terms of cost, scope, and schedule.
- Defining and phasing programme tranches (projects and related work) to achieve benefits.
- Establishing, developing, and maintaining necessary documentation.
- Acting as the focal point for all aspects related to the work packages.
- Providing information for management decisions to key stakeholders.
- Creating and managing integrated plans and schedules.
- Organizing and chairing schedule review meetings and reporting areas requiring executive decisions.
Requirements:
- A degree in a relevant field or CIPS qualification, with experience as a Senior Strategic Buyer in a regulated or complex industry. Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and in-contract management. Knowledge of risk management and resilient supply chain development is essential.
- A proven track record in negotiations, with strong commercial and financial skills, understanding of Total Cost of Acquisition/Product Cost Lifecycles, and analytical levers.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship management skills, with a focus on value creation.
- Passion for driving change, problem-solving skills, digital awareness, and analytical capabilities.
- Experience in reviewing and drafting contracts.
- SAP experience is desirable.
