The role

As a Programme Procurement Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. We are seeking a dynamic Procurement Manager to drive transformation, establish new processes, and lead a newly formed team. You will oversee key categories including Facilities Management, Plant Hire, and Professional Services.

Day-to-day, you’ll drive procurement strategy alignment with global and local needs, lead team adoption, foster cross-functional collaboration, optimize supplier negotiations, and ensure continuous improvement through performance monitoring.

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to align with both global and local requirements.
• Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals to ensure successful implementation and adoption of new processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop relationships and understand procurement needs.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts focusing on cost, delivery, quality, and social value.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with new processes.

This role is full-time, 35 hours per week, with hybrid working arrangements.

Essential experience of Programme Procurement Manager

• Extensive procurement experience, with a proven ability to lead teams through change.
• Strong leadership and change management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience in system implementations and process improvements.
• Relevant degree or professional qualification in procurement or supply chain management.

Qualifications for the Programme Procurement Manager

• CIPS Qualification
