Interim Partner Remuneration Accountant

9 Month Fixed Term Contract | Glasgow (Hybrid)

Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be supporting a leading global professional services firm with the appointment of an Interim Partner Remuneration Accountant. This newly created 9-month interim role will be key in supporting the implementation of a new Partner Remuneration Reporting Tool, focusing on data cleansing, reconciliation, testing, and process documentation.

Reporting into the Senior Partnership Accounting Manager and working within the Financial Management team, you will:

Responsibilities

• Lead a partner remuneration data cleansing exercise, reconciling profit and capital balances to partner statements
• Review the global balance sheet (by office) for all partner-related balances, reconciling annual profit clearing to partner profit balances
• Document local office processes for all partner-related postings
• Support testing and parallel implementation of the new Partner Remuneration Reporting Tool
• Use the tool to record, manipulate and report partner remuneration data for monthly accounts, partner reporting and ad-hoc requests
• Complete ad-hoc accounting tasks to support the wider Partnership Accounting team

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ accounting experience
• Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant status
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience within professional services (desirable)
• Exposure to Thomson Reuters 3E and/or Cognos TM1 (desirable)
