Overview

Project Accounting Assistant to join our busy finance department and support our project accounting team with a variety of financial and administrative tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone at the start of their accounting journey—perhaps a recent graduate or someone looking to move into finance—keen to build a solid foundation and pursue a professional accounting qualification. The role requires onsite work in our Hammersmith office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with remote work on other days. The level and budget are aligned with 0–1 year of experience. We offer a package to support pursuing an accountancy qualification.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities include managing billing, project administration, and developing as an expert user of our project accounting software, Procim.

Responsibilities

  • Billing:
    • Raising of sales invoices on the SAP system
    • Liaise closely with project teams to ensure prompt, accurate billing
  • Project administration:
    • Maintain contracts through SAP
    • Provide adequate Persuasive Evidence for revenue reporting
    • Assist with final reconciliations of projects
    • Develop into an expert user of our bespoke project accounting software, Procim
  • General support:
    • Assist the Project Accounting Manager and other members of the Finance department with ad hoc projects

Qualifications

  • Confident IT user, particularly with Excel
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, positive attitude
  • Ideally some finance experience, though not essential
  • 0–1 year of experience (as stated for this role)

Working arrangements

Onsite in Hammersmith office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; remote work on other days. We encourage candidates who are eager to learn and pursue a professional accounting qualification.
