We're looking for a talented Project Architect to join a distinctive boutique practice in central London with an exciting portfolio of high-profile cultural, residential, and institutional projects. With a close-knit team and an impressive roster of international clients, this is an opportunity to work on prestigious schemes that demand both creative vision and technical excellence.
This is a brand new role created to support an expanding workload, and they're ready to move quickly for the right person.
Responsibilities
- Lead project delivery across RIBA stages 1-7, with immediate involvement in feasibility studies and scheme design.
- Take ownership of complex heritage projects, including Grade II listed buildings with accessibility and sustainability challenges.
- Coordinate technical resolutions for challenging constraints, including listed building requirements and dual sustainability standards.
- Prepare and coordinate detailed construction documentation, specifications, and schedules through all project stages.
- Represent the practice in client meetings and maintain strong relationships with international clients.
- Collaborate within a small, focused team where your contribution makes a visible impact.
- Work across multiple project types including cultural institutions, high-end residential, and institutional developments.
Skills & Experience
- RIBA/ARB registered Architect with proven UK experience.
- Listed building experience required – particularly Grade II projects with technical complexity.
- Strong Vectorworks skills - the practice is transitioning to Revit, so Revit knowledge is beneficial.
- Experience working across all RIBA stages, with confidence leading projects from feasibility through to completion.
- Technical problem-solver who can navigate accessibility requirements, sustainability standards, and heritage constraints.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working directly with international clients.
- Collaborative mindset suited to a small studio environment where everyone contributes across projects.
- Creative design sensibility balanced with rigorous technical delivery.
