The FIR Programme

The Fairness, Inclusion & Respect (FIR) Programme aims to understand industry challenges and educate and upskill workers and businesses to create a more diverse and welcoming workplace. We have developed a FIR toolkit, delivered workshops and events, created online tools, and built a network of over 900 FIR Ambassadors. We lead diversity data benchmarking and are launching technology to support site workers on FIR.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver customer service support for the FIR Team: manage the shared inbox, respond to emails, and handle member and partner queries.
  • Plan and coordinate training activities and events (webinars, workshops, conferences): oversee logistics, liaise with venues, process bookings, and secure trainers/speakers.
  • Support events and meetings (virtual and in-person) to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Track and report on performance targets for the FIR Programme and key stakeholders.
  • Create professional documents and assets: reports, meeting notes, presentations, flyers, and social media content.
  • Promote FIR Team activities through social media, email marketing, and other channels.
  • Maintain and analyse internal systems and data to guide informed decision-making.
  • Keep FIR webpages current with regular WordPress content updates.
  • Contribute to FIR projects as needed, supporting the Programme Manager to meet quarterly deliverables.

Your Profile

  • Proven organisational and project management skills with ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communicator and collaborator, comfortable engaging with colleagues, trainers, clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to excellent support.
  • Hands-on event coordination experience (booking venues, securing trainers, running webinars/conferences).
  • Marketing awareness; able to support campaigns across social media, email and promotional channels.
  • Tech-confident: proficient in Microsoft Office, Zoom/Teams; familiar with WordPress/Content Management Systems and Canva.
  • Creative flair for polished presentations, flyers and professional materials.
  • Data-driven with ability to analyse information and generate actionable insights.
  • Flexible problem-solver, able to adapt quickly and suggest improvements。
