Position Overview

Usually (but not always) the first step on the road to becoming a fully fledged Project Manager.

The ideal candidate has a versatile skillset and plays a crucial role in project success. Without you, projects are doomed to fail.

We are looking for someone like you—no, not you… yeah you… YOU—to join a tech client of ours on a permanent basis. The company has big growth plans for 2025 and beyond.

You’ll need experience working in a software delivery environment. Beyond that, you'll have numerous opportunities to grow and develop, working alongside a talented team of specialists and engaging with some of the industry’s biggest customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with project planning, management, control, and closure activities, including creating and maintaining plans, schedules, and managing resources and risks.
• Preparing project boards, report templates, communication templates, and other administrative activities as per project requirements.
• Preparing project documentation such as project briefs, initiation documents, and planning documents.
• Preparing and presenting updates and reports to clients via written reports, MS Teams meetings, or ticket status updates.

This is a hybrid role offering flexibility for remote work, with the requirement to be within a commutable distance of Chelmsford for regular touchpoints.

The package includes a base salary of £30,000–£35,000 plus benefits. Additionally, the company offers 24 days of annual leave and has implemented a 9-day fortnight, giving every other Friday off—no catch.
