Are you an experienced Project Manager seeking a new opportunity? Join our Integrated Delivery Services team to manage short cycle projects across water assets, ensuring regulatory timelines, delivering business benefits and customer value.
Details
- Working hours: Full time 37 hours per week; flexible arrangements including part-time will be considered
- Contract: Permanent
- Salary: up to £59,800 per annum (depending on experience)
- Location: Hybrid working with office locations at Pity Me, Durham and Washington, Tyne and Wear
Responsibilities
- Lead projects ranging from £500K to £20m, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and to agreed quality expectations
- Engage with stakeholders using strong communication and influencing skills; collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to achieve business outcomes and customer value
- Drive innovation in Project Management; drive efficiencies and continuous improvement through industry best practices
- Manage project governance, benefits tracking, proactive risk management, and change controls in line with investment procedures
Requirements
- Pro-active Project Manager able to oversee projects from inception to completion and handover
- Organised with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and build credibility with stakeholders at all levels
- Project management experience in Engineering, Construction, Utilities, Oil and Gas, Rail and transport, environmental or critical infrastructure environments
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements; ensure safety, quality and environmental outcomes through compliance with company standards, legislation and CDM regulations
- Proven expertise in contract management, procurement, and application of appropriate engineering contracts and CDM regulations
- Commitment to achieving or holding an industry-recognised project management qualification (APM or PRINCE2)
